Ingredients:
3 chicken breast fillets (1 lb; 1/2 kg), cut into 1/2 inch (1 cm) strips
1 garlic clove, minced
a pinch of five-spice powder
7 Tbsp. penut oil
2 inch (5 cm) piece of fresh ginger, cut into thin strips
1 medium green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
4 oz (125 g) broccoli, chopped
1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp. dry sherry
1 Tbsp.oyster sauce
2 tsp. soy sauce
3 green onions, chopped
Preparation:
1. Combine meat with garlic and five-spice powder.
2. Heat 3 Tbsp. peanut oil in wok. Add meat mixture and cook until tender. Remove from wok.
3. Heat remaining oil in the wok, add ginger, bell peper and stir-fry for 1 minute.
4. Rinse noodles under hot water and drain. Add noodles in the wok together with water, sherry, oyster sauce, soy sauce, chicken and onion. Stir-fry until chicken and noodles are heated through.
