Ingredients:
10 oz (300 g) all-purpose flour
3.5 oz (100 g) walnuts, ground
pinch of salt
7 oz (200 g) butter
2 egg yolks, well beaten
3.5 oz (100 g) sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
FOR FILLING:
3.5 oz (100 g) apricot preserves
Preparation:
- Mix flour, walnuts and salt. Cut in butter.
- Add egg yolks, 5 oz (140 g) sugar and vanilla.
- Form into small balls, the size of a walnut. Dip in rest of sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet and make a hole in the center with your thumb.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 200 C (392 F). Remove from cookie sheet, sprinkle with powdered sugar and let cool.
- Fill hole with apricot preserves.
