INGREDIENTS:
500 g (1 lb 2 oz) flour, sifted
100 g (3.5 oz) butter, melted
12 g (0.5 oz) salt
40 g (1.4 oz) fresh yeast
300 ml (10 fl oz; 1 1/2 cup) luke warm water
PREPARATION:
- Mix yeast with sugar and 50 ml (2 fl oz) water. Leave in a warm place to rise.
- Combine flour with salt, yeast and remaining water. Add melted butter and knead the dough. Let rise for about 30-40 minutes in a warm place.
- Knead the dough again, form into loaf, put in a greased baking dish and leave to rise again.
- Bake in 200-220 C (390-420 F) oven for 40 minutes.
